Vaisakhi, the festival of new beginnings, is a colorful and vibrant celebration that brings people together as it marks the formation of Khalsa Panth by Guru Gobind Singh and the start of the Sikh New Year.
It also marks the spring harvest festival in India and is celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy.
We all are aware that India is the only land where all the festivities are celebrated with traditional music, dance, and mouth-watering feasts. So this could be the best time to unite with family and friends and indulge in the joyous spirit of Vaisakhi.
Digi Rush, never let a festival go by without celebrating it with our team! So this is how we celebrated Vaisakhi at the office.
- Dressed up in traditional dresses, women in suits, and men in kurta Pyjamas, we celebrated the vibrant festival of Vaisakhi and danced to the beat of the dhol, full of zeal and enthusiasm.
The day started with an early morning visit to the Gurudwara, where we devotees offer prayers and seek blessings for a prosperous new year. The Gurudwara was decorated with colorful flowers and lights, and the sound of Kirtans fills the air. This was the perfect start to a day full of celebrations and happiness!
At Dig Rush, we know how to have fun, but work comes first, and that can’t be undone.
We finished our tasks with speed, So we could celebrate Vaisakhi with all our might.
So Here’s the celebration started!
- Firstly we decorated our entire office with colorful lights, flowers, and traditional ornaments. This created an electric atmosphere, and everyone was in high spirits.
- We started the celebration with some mouth-watering snacks like samosas, kachoris, and jalebis. The delicious smell of the food spread across the office and everyone was excited to eat it.
- After the snacks, we had some fun games planned. We played many games, that brought out the competitive spirit in everyone, and there were a lot of laughs and cheers all around.
Without Bhangra this festival is not over!
Finally, we wrapped up the celebration with the Bhangra dance. One of our Colleagues made everyone do the Bhangra, As he knows it very well. The music was loud, the beats were infectious, and everyone was up on their feet, dancing and cheering along. The energy was contagious, and it was hard not to get swept up in the excitement.
